Best email hosting for personal domain

If you mean email for your own domain (e.g. you@yourname.com) and this is primarily for personal use, I’d rank them:

🥇 Fastmail — best overall

fastmail.com is what I'd choose for most people.

Why:

• Excellent web and mobile apps
• Custom domains
• Good spam filtering and reliability
• IMAP/SMTP support, so you're not locked into their app
• Excellent alias support — useful for hello@, shopping@, news@, etc.
• No need to pay for a whole office suite just to get email

🔐 Proton Mail — best for privacy

proton.me is the better choice if privacy is a major consideration.

💰 Zoho — best budget option
