Best photo viewing software for mac
AI summary
Pixea is the best default for modern and minimalist photo viewing; choose XnView MP when you need a powerful free all-rounder with extensive format support and batch processing tools. For dedicated professional photography and raw file rendering, ApolloOne is ideal. Phiewer offers a responsive presentation style for browsing mixed media folders quickly. Apple Photos suits users wanting an automated, iCloud-synced library for personal image collections. Meanwhile, qView works well for an ultra-lightweight open-source experience, and Apple Preview remains the convenient built-in option for quick everyday tasks.

What I'd choose
For Windows-style "open a folder and rapidly flip through hundreds/thousands of photos": XnView MP.
For professional photography/RAW work: ApolloOne.
For managing your personal iPhone/Mac photo collection: Apple Photos.
If you tell me whether you want (a) the fastest viewer, (b) best RAW viewer, (c) best replacement for Windows Photo Viewer, or (d) best for huge folders with thousands of photos, I can narrow it down to one.
